Yet another shocking news struck the Indian cricket, as one of the brightest cricketers in Mumbai was stabbed to death by three assailants in Mumbai. The incident took place on Thursday night in Mumbai. The further details of the brutal attack are yet to be revealed.
As per the lines on ANI, it is learnt that the person, who was succumbed to death was identified as Rakesh Panwar, who is a local cricket player of Maharashtra. The childhood friend of Rakesh, Govind revealed that Rakesh is in his mid-30’s of age and was accompanied by his girlfriend during the attack.
Rakesh Panwar had an old enmity with Khan family:
Further, Govind revealed that there are a few disputes between him and the Khan family, which is the only clue for Policemen so far. He also revealed that Rakesh gives coaching to the youngsters to survive in Mumbai.
“I was not with him. He had an old enmity with Khan family here. He was accompanied by his girlfriend when the incident took place,” said Govind.
Well, the police investigation is going on regarding the murder. Most probably, the attackers would be under the custody in a quick time, as Mumbai police are known for their quick work.
This is not the first time that a cricketer has died at a young age. Recently, we came across a cricketer committing suicide alongside his mother. And also, a few incidents on the field, which saw the cricketers losing their lives.
