Zaheer Khan vs Graeme Smith
Graeme Smith was doubtlessly Zaheer Khan’s favourite enemy on the cricket field. Whether it is Test cricket or ODI, Zak has always dominated Smith with his furious opening spells. The Indian pacer dismissed Smith 13 times in international cricket, out of which he was bowled out 3 times, caught 6 times and leg-before-wicket 4 times.
The first major duel between the two came in Champions Trophy 2002, which Indian shared with Sri Lanka in the Final. The semi-final encounter between Men in Blue and Protea had shown us some exceptional fielding from Yuvraj Singh, who also took a magnificent catch off Graeme Smith on the bowling of Zaheer Khan. The Indian legend did not stop here as he went on to dismiss Smith for 12 more times after that.
