The highly-anticipated Major League Cricket (MLC) is all set to become the latest T20 franchise league in the world. The tournament is already garnering a lot of attention since it is the first high-profile professional T20 league of the United States.
The competition is seen by many as the route to finally make cricket popular in the United States and tap the vast market. The inaugural edition of the MLC is scheduled to be played in July 2023. The first season of the competition will last for less than a month.
Stars from around the world have already confirmed their participation in the tournament.
