Deepak Chahar has received a hilarious piece of advice from his sister Malti Chahar ahead of his honeymoon after tying the knot with Jaya Bhardwaj. The fast-bowler married his long term girlfriend on last Wednesday (June 2).

The 29-year old had proposed to Jaya during an IPL game between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings at Dubai International Stadium on October 7, 2021. Chahar was seen putting a ring on his partner’s finger and hugging her in the stadium. The video of the proposal had gone viral on internet.

As per media reports, the wedding took place at the Jaypee Palace hotel in Agra. Ever since the wedding took place, the internet has been flooded with photos and videos of Chahar and Jaya.

Malti Chahar’s advice for brother Deepak:

With all the ceremonies and functions now done and dusted, Deepak and Jaya are all set to enjoy some time together. And as the newlyweds gear up for their honeymoon, Malti Chahar could not stop herself from giving them a hilarious advice.

The actress sister of the India cricket star took to Twitter to post an adorable picture from the wedding. In the caption, she hilariously told Deepak to take care of his back during the honeymoon as the T20 World Cup is not very far away.

“Ab ladki hui humari….Wish you guys a very happy married life? @deepak_chahar9 please take care of your back during your honeymoon..we have World Cup ahead ?,” wrote Malti.

Earlier in the year, Chahar was Chennai Super Kings’ most expensive pick at the mega auction. The four-time champions had secured his services for Rs 14 crore. The pacer, however, could not play a single game in the competition due to injury.

While the IPL was on, he was spending time at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, rehabilitating from a quadriceps tear he sustained during India’s home T20I series against the West Indies.
