In his first day as an unofficial spotter, Bengal cricket team’s captain Manoj Tiwary was impressed by Tapan Memorial Club’s alrounder Pramod Chandila’s stormy 82 runs off only 35 balls in the JC Mukherjee T-Twenty Trophy quarterfinal at Kalighat ground. Tapan Memorial upset Kalighat Club and ensured its berth in the semifinal of the tournament.
Manoj said, “Sourav’s advice has helped me to roam around grounds where matches in the JC Mukherjee Trophy is being played and it will help a lot to find our quality cricketers in future.” Bengal skipper also added saying, “I am truly impressed by Pramod’s superb show today and his kind of crickers will benefit Bengal in future. I must submit his name to the CAB president.”
Manoj Tiwari also informed that he would be particpating in the J C Mukherjee Trophy T-Twenty tournament in the semifinal stage. He said, “The selection of Bengal team for Syed Mustaq Ali T-Twenty tournament will take place on 27th December. So, if me and Sairaj Bahutule can find a few more names before the selection, then it will help us a lot.”
