As per reports circulating within the Indian cricketing circles, flamboyant Indian all rounder Yuvraj Singh, has been engaged to British Indian model Hazel Keech. The reports state that the engagement took place in Bali, in a private ceremony. As per Yograj Singh (Yuvraj’s father), the out of favour southpaw can still make a rousing comeback into the India setup. Yograj also believes that marriage can get Yuvi’s career back on track.
“I was introduced to her by Yuvraj and she is a very nice girl. I am confident that marrying her will change his fortunes and he will return to the national squad. He definitely has it in him to represent India. It is sad how Mahendra Singh Dhoni spoilt his international career. The same had happened to me when my friend Kapil Dev had destroyed my India career,” Yograj said, in a recent statement.
Speaking about the captaincy of MS Dhoni, Yograj added that the former was lucky to get an already settled unit. “I feel that Dhoni was blessed to get a bunch of players who were match-winners in their own rights and they had been handpicked by none other than Ganguly. I think Virat Kohli is in the Ganguly mould and he has impressed me a lot. I think he can definitely make this team a champion outfit,” he said.
The outspoken former Indian cricketer also said that he was pleased to see a player of Ganguly’s caliber to be within the BCCI. “I am really happy to see Ganguly get involved in the BCCI,” he said.
