Meet The Girl In 22 Yards From Kashmir: Rubina Sayeed 1

As, always much attention is given to cricket in India as a man’s game, as it’s more popular than female cricket.

But time and again, the male counterpart has proved enough to get their worth. Be it India’s Harmanpreet Kaur or Mithali Raj!

This time it’s a girl from Kashmir. Kashmiri girls have known to come off their place both on and off fields, registering victories both on field and life.

Rubina Sayeed is among them. Rubina recently participated in North Zone Women’s team organised by The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at Mumbai and shone brightly on the field. Rubina Sayeed was the only cricketer from JandK who represented in North Zone.

Rubina also played in the qualifying Under-23 Women’s a league tournament at Amritsar in Punjab and scored 160 runs with the highest score of 82 runs in the inaugural match played against host team Punjab.

In such adversities when being a girl in a society is a challenge, Rubina has paved her way all along Kashmir, disturbed part of India to live her dream. She is an inspiration to other girls in Kashmir and also aninspiartion to Indian girls for whom nothing can be a barrier in between their dreams.

Hope her innings stay alive for long!
