Same-sex marriage is a hot topic of discussion in most of the world. However, Australia has legalized it only last December. Aussie women cricketer Megan Schutt who loves talking straight on face Megan Schutt said that she is ready to face the consequences and face a confrontation if she faces any objection on social media for marrying her partner Jess Holyoake.
“I’m pretty good at wiping away things that don’t confront me at the time. Obviously, it’s not the best thing in the world here. But back home, it’s something important for me. It happens the same way here,” Schutt said after the match.
When asked that if she would back away from posting any controversial tweets while she is in India, Schutt said:
“Not at all. I don’t mind if anyone wants to have a stab at it. I don’t mind confrontation.”
It was very recently that Schutt became the first Aussie women’s bowler to take a hat-trick in W T20I’s. She is one of the most enterprising cricketers at the moment and will look to perform well in the T20I tri-series.
