On the second day of the pink-ball Test, Mehidy Hasan, concussion substitute of Liton Das, amazed everyone with his only six in the innings. The whole Indian team was astonished to see that sixer.
Tiger’s crucial batsman Liton Das was suspected with the concussion on the first day. The right-handed batsman was struck with the ball on the helmet. Mehidy Hasan was sent as the concussion substitute for Liton Das. According to the new ICC rule, the concussion substitute must be like for like as stated Mehidy Hasan, the bowler, would now not bowl against India in the Pink ball game.
Mehidy Hasan’s six was very unexpected
After scoring just eight runs in the first innings, Hasan scored 15 runs in the second innings which included two fours and one six. On the short ball of pacer Mohammed Shami, the player got the top thick edge and the ball flew to the third man. Nobody was able to spot the ball. Indian captain Virat Kohli was also shocked. Cheteshwar Pujara, standing at the third man, was also surprised as he gestured saying he could not trace the ball.
However, the batsman could not continue his stunt and was out on Ishant Sharma’s delivery at the late moment of day two.

The second day of pink Ball game ended with Bangladesh losing six wickets and scoring 152 runs. India still had the lead of 89 runs. The show was similar to the first day of this Test match. Bangladesh batsmen were regularly losing their wickets, clueless in front of the Indian pacers. Mushfiqur Rahim showed stability in the second innings. The right-handed batsman scored his second half-century against India in this series. Till he was standing in the crease, Tigers were in the game.

Later on day three, India took less than an hour to finish the game. This time the visitors were bundled out for 195 runs as the Indian team won the match by an innings and 46 runs.
Records have been made in India’s first under light Test match. Virat Kohli scored his first century with the pink ball game. He also became the fastest captain to score 5000 Test runs. Ishant Sharma also got his 10th five-wicket haul in Test career. After 12 years, the placer took the second five-wicket haul in home Test series.
