Matthew Wade was the highest run scorer today. His runs helped his team to get a defendable score. But Melbourne Stars managed to score the runs and all his efforts went into vain. He scored 71 runs from 49 balls with a strike rate of 144.9 and hit 2 boundaries and 4 sixes.
2. James Faulkner

Glenn Maxwell really rocked the show and gave his best performance of the tournament. 4. Kevin Pietersen
Kevin Pietersen was another great batsman and who proved helpful. He and Maxwell had a 120 runs partnership. He alone scored 49 runs, just 1 run shy of a half century. He scored in 49 balls and had a strike rate of 100 and hit 3 boundaries and 1 six.
Flops of the Day
1. Aaron Finch
Aaron Finch, the skipper, was a disappointment today. The captain is having some problems lately. Today he scored only 12 runs and was dismissed Aaron Finch in the 4th over.
2. Scott Boland
Scott Boland was very expensive today. Although his team didn’t lose the match but he gave away critical runs today and was unsuccessful today. He bowled 4 overs and gave 31 runs and had an economy of 7.8 and didn’t pick any wickets.
3. Cameron White
Cameron White, the skipper, too was a disappointment today. Today both the skippers from the two teams had terrible batting. Cameron White scored only 8 runs and was dismissed in the 2nd over by Shakib Al Hasan.
4. Luke Wright
Luke Wright too was a flop today. He came to bat first and was the first to leave. He scored only 4 runs and was dismissed by James Pattinson on the last ball of the first over.
