The second ODI between Australia and India has seen a ridiculous moment when former World Cup winning skipper Michael Clarke’s named showed up at the top of the team’s line up on the Gabba’s giant scoreboard.
As it turned out there was no dramatic comeback for the talismanic batsman, who quit the game last year and the display of his was just an error which was soon rectified.
Clarke tweeted after scoreboard’s picture with his name at the top of the Australian line-up was posted on social media.
Meanwhile, India winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 308 runs for 8 wickets. Rohit Sharma scored a second consecutive hundred against Australia as the batsman scored 124 while Ajinkya Rahane scored 89.

India could have added more to their total on board after Rohit departure, but India made things patchy in the death overs. Australian bowlers took eight wickets in the match and conceded just four overs in the last over.
Australia commencing the innings played a little bit slow, but getting settled down both Finch and Shaun Marsh scored a half century.
They built a partnership of 145 runs before Finch was caught by Anjikya Rahane off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling. India got rid of Shaun Marsh four overs later as Virat Kohli took a good catch of Marsh off Ishnat Sharma.
Eventually, India lost the match by 7 wickets.
