Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has dismissed promoting ‘personal abuse’ against the Aussie cricketers during the 3rd Test against the Proteas.
The Test has been marred with the ball-tampering controversy carried out by the Australian leadership group. Vaughan was involved in a war of words with Warner’s wife Candice as he made a joke of the Australian team wanting to lodge an official complaint about the abuse they received from the Proteas fan in the stadium.
The former English captain further added it was the behaviour of the Australian players which made situations go out of control in the Test series so far.
However, these comments didn’t go down well with Candice.
“It’s making me chuckle the Aussies are making an official complaint about the personal abuse they are receiving,” Vaughan wrote.

“I’m glad it’s making you laugh” before adding, “so you would approve of the same treatment to your wife and three kids,” Candice wrote.
In reply Vaughan further tweeted,
“Absolutely not … But off-field anger in my experience starts with on-field behaviour by players … so maybe you need to look closer to home as to why” he said.
I’m glad it’s making you laugh.

Meanwhile, the 3rd Test has been marred by the ball-tampering scandal. The Australian Prime Minister was very disappointed with the incident and said it was one of the most disappointing days in Australian cricket.
Opener Cameron Bancroft was caught on camera using a foreign substance on the ball.
A yellow sticky tape was seen going under his underpants when he realised that he was caught on camera. Skipper Steve Smith admitted that the leadership group was aware of the tampering plans. They discussed it during lunch and came up with this idea to bring more reverse swing into action.
