Former England captain Michael Vaughan has taken to Twitter on his apparent views on former Aussie vice-captain David Warner.

In the light of the recent ball-tampering controversy, David Warner, Steve Smith, and Cameron Bancroft have been the talking point across the cricket fraternity. All three were found guilty of their wrongdoings and were eventually sanctioned punishments by Cricket Australia yesterday.

Steve Smith, Cameron Bancroft, and David Warner have all flown from Johannesburg yesterday and reached Sydney. Both Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft have addressed media today in Sydney over the controversial incident.

However, David Warner had released a statement on his social channels to his followers and fans earlier today. He promised to talk about the incident in the next few days.

Vaughan, who himself is very active on Twitter has taken a sly dig on David Warner in his latest tweet which read:

2 out of the 3 players fronting up to the media .. Speaking honestly and in great regret .. 1 speaking through a statement on social media .. !!!”

David Warner had taken the bulk of the criticism, as he is considered the mastermind behind the ball tampering incident.

The southpaw was banned from playing for Australia over the next 12 months and was also additionally sanctioned to not lead Australian cricket team across any format in the future.

Meanwhile, Steve Smith who had addressed the media has confessed his feelings. He eventually broke out in the media briefing and has apologized to the Australian public for his wrongdoings.

The 29-year old has hoped that he could be an example for others in the future and admitted he would regret the incident for the rest of his life.

Bancroft has also publicly apologized, and all the three cricketers are ordered to do their social hours in community cricket. The youngster has also broken out while briefing which was noticed by many cricket fans across the world.
