Michael Vaughan said that Virat Kohli is still adjusting as a T20 skipper while compatriot Rohit Sharma is calm and has got a better plan to play T20. Reports were doing the rounds that Rohit Sharma is set to take over as India’s T20I captain after the conclusion of 2019 ODI World Cup. However, the selection committee resisted the move and instead backed the 31-year-old Virat Kohli by retaining him as full-time captain for the Men in Blue.

Rohit Sharma continues to give intense competition to Virat Kohli for the limited-overs captaincy due to his knack of being calm, using his bowlers wisely and having four IPL titles under his belt which is the most by a captain in the tournament history as opposed to Virat Kohli’s none.

I still feel Virat is still trying to find his feet in how to play as a leader in T20 cricket.”
