On Wednesday Australia are picking up the pieces after a debilitating day on the pitch as India took the advantage in the 2nd Test at the hot Gabba.

The exhausting heat took its toll on the Australians with 3 bowlers yielding to heat or wounds. The major unease was all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, who quit the ground just after lunch with a hamstring injury and is improbable to bowl again for the rest of this Test match. Josh Hazlewood was forced off the pitch late in the day due to cramp, while fellow pace bowler Mitchell Starc has a hurt back.

Physiotherapist, Alex Kountouris, was a busy man detailing the Australian team’s were walking wounded at the end of the day’s play.

Alex Kountouris said to reporters that Mitchell Marsh has got a light hamstring injury, low level strain on his right leg. Alex added that He has had operation on the left leg in previous year and he also wounded the right one about two years back. He is not going to bowl in this Test. He will face a scan and the medic team will try to get him on the ground tomorrow and most probably have him batting that is useful.

Alex Kountouris also added Starc’s issues were back connected but he was presumed to bowl on 2nd day. The medic team said Josh, playing in his maiden Test which was disturbed by cramps during this burning conditions. He will recuperate overnight and they will watch how he is in the morning. Focusing ahead to the next Test matches which is going to start in Melbourne on Boxing Day, Alex said experienced pacer Ryan Harris was working towards being ready and fit to play after missing the Brisbane match.

Darren Lehmann, the coach of Australian Team is not happy with his boy’s performance and told that he presumed an improvement on the 2nd day. From their point of view they do not want any injuries.
