Mohammad Amir Considering Retirement From Test To Concentrate On Limited Overs Cricket

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir is considering retirement from Test cricket to shift his focus on limited overs cricket.
As per the reports, Amir was quite upset with the second Test loss against West Indies. It was a surprising loss where the visiting side was flattened on a mere score of 81, chasing a target of 188 in the final innings. Amir discussed the matter with his teammates and the team management post the loss to shift his focus on limited overs cricket.
However, someone leaked this and now PCB is looking for the person who did this,
“Amir himself is now upset that how this private discussion came out in the open and who leaked the discussions. The Pakistan Cricket Board and team management in West Indies are now investigating as to who is responsible for leaking out this private discussion. He apparently indicated he would like to focus on one- dayers and T20 cricket,” the report said.
Amir made his first Test appearance after his comeback in the month of July against England last year and has tasted success from then. He has been star for Pakistan in the ongoing series against West Indies as he has taken 11 wickets till now in two Tests but a loss in the last Test was a big disappointment for not just him, but also the whole team especially Younis khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, who were making their penultimate appearance in international cricket.
There is still one more Test match to go in the series and we might see Amir coming up with the final decision after this after the final Test.
Amir, who made his Test debut in the year 2009, has played a total of 27 Test matches in which he has taken 92 wickets at an average of 31.57.
