Mohammad Kaif, the former Indian cricketer and Delhi Capitals assistant coach has hailed the performance of a trio of Sunrisers Hyderabad players Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad against the experienced Chennai Super Kings.
SRH youngster Priyam Garg gave a stunning performance with the bat against CSK. Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma rescued SRH from a disastrous start and enabled the team to post 164 runs in 20 overs. SRH were 69/4 at one stage but Priyam Garg smashed 51 runs in just 26 balls while Abhishek Sharma made a gutsy 31 off 24 balls after witnessing a bad start.

Priyam Garg hit six fours and one six and remained unbeaten while Abhishek Sharma was dismissed after he hit 4 fours and one six in his 31 run knock. Abdul Samad remained unbeaten on 8 as SRH posted a commanding 164/5.

Abdul Samad, who recently made his IPL debut, defended 28 runs in the last over on Friday bowling against the likes of MS Dhoni and Sam Curran.
Priyam Garg have so far scored 63 runs in two innings and four matches at an average of 63 while Abhishek Sharma has 41 runs to his name at an average of 20.5 and has also taken a solitary wicket in IPL 2020. Overall, Abhishek Sharma has played 10 IPL matches and scored 113 runs besides picking up two wickets.

SRH defeated CSK by seven runs at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday. SRH are now placed 4th in the points table after two wins and two losses and CSK are at bottom of the table with one win and 3 losses.
