Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Shahzad on Saturday is docked AFN 30,000 by Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) after the attacking opening batsman violated the Board’s rules and regulations.

Chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), Shukrullah Atif Mashal told media Shahzad got fined by the disciplinary committee of the cricket board. Shahzad has been found guilty of playing a game.
Mashal also added Shahzad violated the board’s rules of playing for a club outside the country without any permission.

Furthermore, according to reports Shahzad was playing for a cricket club in Pakistan.
Mr Mashal in a report said if Shahzad continues to breach and violate the laws then he will face stern action.

However, no confirmed details have been given about the club for which Shahzad was playing without any prior approval of the national cricket board of Afghanistan.
