Want to be a professional cricketer?
Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler, bowled at full enthusiasm and with utmost effort in the net practice session held in on the eve of their ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup tournament of 2015 game against rivals West Indies at WACA stadium at Perth in the island nation New Zealand. Shami had missed out on the last game of India against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), last Friday due to an injury related concern regarding his left knee. The Indian Cricket Association and the Indian World Cup team management had kept him out of the game as a precaution, keeping in mind of the games ahead.
Shami, who had started bowling with a short run up on this Tuesday during training at the Murdoch University in Perth, was nevertheless seen to be much enthusiast and motivated to practice for the entire day time. On the eve of the game against the West Indies, Shami warmed up and bowled at full tilt. The information coming from the team management was that he was expected to be fit for the game. With him bowling, this is a positive move for the Indians.
Mohammad Shami’s return in the Indian side may see Bhuvneshwar Kumar out of the side but that will surely and certainly sharpen the bowling attack of the team. Bhuvneshwar had taken Shami’s place ahead of Stuart Binny against the UAE. Although he had a decent outing, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma have been in good touch and are likely to be persisted with. India will also play Ravichandran Ashwin as the leading spinner with Ravindra Jadeja as the cohort.
