Shortly after Nidahas Trophy-winning captain, Rohit Sharma tweeted a ‘get well soon’ message to his teammate Mohammad Shami, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya followed his Mumbai Indian skipper to do the same.
It was only on Sunday that the Indian fast bowler, Mohammad Shami, met with an accident while returning from Dehradun to Delhi after playing a match.
Shami was immediately hospitalised as he sustained sound injuries to his forehead. A picture circulated in the media displayed Shami in a critical condition.
However, it was later revealed that the speedster was in normal condition, dodging any serious injuries to the head, and would be up and running in a matter of weeks.
“This lad has gone through a lot in recent times. Wishing him a speedy recovery @MdShami11,” Tweeted Rohit Sharma.

Following a splendid month of January, where he scalped 15 wickets in the three Test matches in South Africa, it all came spiraling down to Mohd. Shami in the ongoing month of March.
Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan leveled a series of accusations this month regarding domestic violence, physical and mental torture, attempt to rape and murder, and match-fixing.
It all looked bleak for Shami’s professional career in between with his central contract from BCCI withheld, and Daredevils skeptical about him featuring in the IPL.
Interestingly, Shami received a clean chit from ACU and also is free to play in the IPL this season, while his wife continues her fight against Shami.
Hasin Jahan claimed that she would pray to the almighty for Shami’s well being.
