Bangladesh right-hand batsman Mosaddek Hossain has returned to his home soon after the finish of the third T20I against India. It increased different speculations about the player’s return while the Bangladesh team has headed towards Indore to play the first Test match.
Through Facebook, the 23-year-old has cleared the reason for travelling back to home. Because of his mother’s descending health, the player has to return in a hurry. The player asked to shower blessings and pray for his mother.
“Hopefully, everyone can realize now why I am coming back from India. My mother’s liver is not working properly and needs an emergency operation. Please, everyone keeps my mother in your prayers. Cricket and team are always an integral part of my life. Love for all of my well-wishers,” Mosaddek Hossain wrote on Facebook.
Mosaddek Hossain will play the Test series
Bangladesh selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu has confirmed that Mosaddek Hossain will return back and join the Test series against India.
“His (Mosaddek) mother is ill. The operation will take place immediately. Hopefully, he will finish the job soon and join the team,” said the selector.
Hossain made debut for Bangladesh team in 2016. He has played 35 ODIs, 14 T20Is and 3 Test matches. The youngster is working on to gain a permanent place in the Bangladesh national cricket team.
Bangladesh will try to make a strong comeback in this tour through the Test series. Bangladesh started the T20I series with great enthusiasm. They won the first T20I but was not able to maintain the victory in the next two matches.
The first Test match will be played from 14th November in Indore. Both the teams are getting ready for the big challenge i.e, day-night Test match. The second Test match will be played in Eden Garden from 22nd November. It will be the first day and night Test match for both the teams.
