The T20 format in cricket has become popular in a short span of time due to the high percentage of entertainment value provided by the sheer length of the game. With only 20 over’s to play, the crowd can be sure that a huge hit is not too far away at any moment in the game. We have also witnessed some extra-ordinary batsmen-ship from some players who took the whole innings into their stride and blew away the opponents.

1. Ahmed Shehzad
A product of the most surprising national team in the world Ahmed Shehzad burst into the International scene as hard hitting middle order batsmen before being promoted up the order to make use of the hard and new ball. Ahmed in an innings against the Stags at Lahore in a domestic T20 Tournament scored a century in just 57 balls scoring 20 boundaries and a six. He remains the batsmen to have scored the highest number of boundaries in a T20 innings.
2. Paul Valthaty
Not a very familiar name, Paul who played for the KIXP side in the IPL used to open along with the great Adam Gilchrist and it helped his young temperament a lot. Paul in 2011 blazed a scintillating 120 in just 63 balls with 19 boundaries and 2 sixes. Batting at a strike rate of 190 Valthaty helped his team win the match which later turned out to have no effect on the play offs situation.
3. AB de Villiers
The best batsmen in all forms of cricket at the moment, ABD will be a part of any list that involves scoring runs quickly. In this season AB has gone to a different level coming in at 3 and has shown many a times what he can do with the bat. He makes this list for his marauding innings of 133 of just 59 balls along with Virat Kohli another inform batsmen. 4. Andrew Symonds

5. Daniel Harris
Not a very familiar name, Harris who is known for finding the boundary with ease in any situation tore the team from Bangalore apart in a CL T20 game in their home ground. In the 2011 season of the Champions League for cricket, Harris eased to an unbeaten 108 of just 61 deliveries sending the ball to the fence with 17 boundaries and over the fence twice. This innings from Harris is known for the fearless hitting that he managed to pull off against a star studded Bangalore line-up.
