Each and every batsman start their innings with a zero, and slowly build their innings to reach to a half century. Getting off the mark than slowly building their innings they try to get to the magical figure of hundred, but are not always successful. Sometimes a half century is enough to get the team to a good position while setting targets and sometimes enough to help the team win the match. Sachin Tendulkar is at the number one spot in the list of most half centuries in ODI format of the game. Sangakkara is second in the list of most Half centuries in ODI cricket , and is most likely to break Sachin’s record with Sri Lanka expected to play 15 more matches before the World Cup 2015.
