At the very young ages, South African star batsman Graeme Smith was handed over a captaincy role. In a very sublime way, the former Proteas opener delivered the punch with some decent results in his favour.

Southpaw led the Proteas team in 150 ODIs which eventually saw him winning 92 fixtures. Adding, Smith, as a leader, lost 51 games as six finished with no result.

The only game turned out to be a tie under his tutelage which saw his winning percentage reading as 64.23.
