1. Virat Kohli – Rohit Sharma, 2008 runs –
Rohit Sharma has been India’s opening batsmen for quite a long time now and Virat Kohli has been quite much successful batting at number three. 5. Gautam Gambhir – Virat Kohli, 1597 runs –
For yet another time, Virat Kohli’s name is involved in a partnership. This time it’s with Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir used to open the innings for India and Kohli came in to bat at number 3 or 4. Together, they contributed to some brilliant partnerships. In the World Cup Final of 2011, they contributed to the partnership of over 70 runs which was pretty much vital for the team.
