With just few days ahead of the World Cup good news has arrived for the Indian Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi as the pair welcome a bay girl to their family.
Dhoni became a first time father after it was reported that Dhoni’s wife Sakshi gave birth to a baby girl in a private hospital in Gurgaon.
Dhoni’s wife Sakshi was seen travelling with the Indian Captain on most of the tours abroad but was not seen during the recently concluded tour of Australia. She was taking advised rest ahead of such an ocassion.
According to the doctors, baby girl weighs around 3.7 kgs and is perfectly healthy. Doctors at Fortis hospital Gurgaon further confirmed the well being of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi as well.
MS. Dhoni is currently in Australia preparing his side for the defence of their World Cup crown. People in India believe in good omen ahead of any any auspecious ocassion and what better way to start the World Cup with the news of a baby girl arriving in Team India’s family. Dhoni and Co. would hope for better fortunes then what they had to suffer during the recently concluded test and ODI series in Australia.
India begin their World Cup defence in a mouth-watering tie against Pakistan on 15th February.
