MS Dhoni is one of the smartest cricketers on the field and has shown it multiple times throughout his stint on the international stage. However, there is another aspect of his wit that he uses to catch people off the guard, and that is when he is off the field. Cricket fans have been fortunate enough to witness both the sides regularly.
Be it fooling the opposition batsmen from behind the wickets or coming with a badass reply to the reporters in a press conference. MS Dhoni has been on the end of it all. Once again, it has been proved that Dhoni might have been away from the field for a very long time, but his wit is as sharp as it has ever been.

This time, it is his CSK teammate, Deepak Chahar, who has been on the receiving end of it and he has left us all in splits after narrating the recent funny anecdote.
Deepak Chahar Reveals What MS Dhoni Said To Him When He Tried To Highlight Dhoni’s Weakness
During a conversation with Irfan Pathan and Jatin Sapru on Star Sports, a fan asked Chahar what would be his plan if he had to bowl to Dhoni in the death overs. Chahar then recalled Dhoni’s hilarious reply when he recently asked the same question to the CSK skipper.
“I asked Mahi bhai this question just four days ago. He said the knuckle-ball will be a good option. But I know he would easily smack a knuckle-ball really far,” Chahar recalled his conversation with Dhoni.

“Then I said, wide yorker and wide slower bouncer can be good options against him. He was like thanks for letting me know, the auction is coming,” Chahar added.

Former Cricketers Divided On MS Dhoni’s Return To Team India
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star batsman Suresh Raina said MS Dhoni did not show any signs of ageing and that he was hitting the big sixes at will, as usual during the training camp in Chennai. Laxmipathy Balaji, the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings, also vouched for MS Dhoni’s return.

On the other hand, former wicketkeeper-batsman, Deep Dasgupta had said that MS Dhoni should have kept playing domestic cricket if he aspired a return to the India National Cricket Team. Kris Srikkanth also noted that if the IPL does not take place, Dhoni’s return looks impossible. Gautam Gambhir and Ashish Nehra also had similar views to those of Srikkanth.
