The West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo has wholely credited MS Dhoni for pushing his career in the right direction. The duo play for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. To show respect to the CSK captain, Bravo is compiling a song for Dhoni, and he has named the song “No.7”, which is a jersey number of Dhoni.

Bravo joined the CSK team in 2011 before which he played for Mumbai Indians. He has also played for Gujrat Lions for one season. However, he has been a constant member of the yellow army and has become a vital cog for them in the past editions. Being with CSK, he has spent a lot more time close to the Dhoni.

Bravo has said that Dhoni had a considerable impact not only on his career but also on the careers of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. So as a mark of tribute, he wants to dedicate a special song to CSK captain. Earlier, CSK in their official social media handle had released a glimpse of the song.

Recently, while talking to Cricbuzz, he has shed more light on the song, saying that he is yet to complete the composition and wants to make it special.

“The Mahi song… I haven’t completed the entire track as of yet. I still want to work on the music and some other lyrics I want to put in there. I was thinking…there is not anyone who has done a song as a tribute to one particular athlete. I was coming up with ideas,” Dwayne Bravo told Harsha Bhogle during ‘Cricbuzz in Conversation with Dwayne Bravo’ chat show.
