Kedar Jadhav reveals his only regret in cricket
“Growing up, my favourite player was always Sachin Tendulkar. But I always regret that I could not play with him for India,” said the 35-year-old. He also opened up on the first time when he met Dhoni and how it was a ‘fanboy’ moment for him.
“When I met Mahi bhai, my impression was that he’s India’s captain and he’s strict. There was this different aura about him, and I used to get intimidated by Dhoni. But after meeting him and spending time with him, I can’t see him in a different way, now Dhoni is my favourite,” he added.

MS Dhoni’s role in shaping up Kedar Jadhav’s career
Jadhav’s unconventional bowling action has been in the news. It has earned him accolades and success at the international scene. Interestingly, Jadhav didn’t ply his trade with the ball in domestic cricket much. However, he has already scalped 27 wickets in ODIs.
He said Dhoni gave him a lot of confidence and that helped him usher in limited-over format. He opened up on the fact that to play more than 20 games for India feels like a dream to him and that it wouldn’t have been possible without the backing from the former India skipper.
