Former Pakistan skipper Sana Mir has revealed MS Dhoni is her favorite Indian cricketer. In fact, Sana Mir took two names when she was asked a player she would like to become for a day. Sana Mir also took the name of former World Cup-winning Pakistan captain and now Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The southpaw off-break bowler recently took the numero uno position in the latest ICC ODI Rankings. Sana Mir got to 663 rating points after performing well in the ICC Women ODI Championship against Australia. Albeit, Pakistan lost the three-match series by 3-0, Mir scalped seven wickets in the three matches.
Sana Mir revealed MS Dhoni is her favorite Indian cricket on Voice of Cricket show while speaking to host Zainab Abbas.
Meanwhile, Sana Mir took to her Twitter to share her happines after claiming the pinnacle of the rankings. She wrote, “This is a team effort of support staff and players who have helped me excel.” In another tweet, she further added, “I would also like to thank ICC for providing us regular opportunities to play with the big teams through ICC women Championship and to coach Mark Coles, who chose to look at my skill rather than my age.”
She also replied on the ICC post after getting to the top position in the rankings.
Her post read as, “Alhamdulillah! Thanks to the Almighty for giving me the strength to keep going. Thanks to my parents, family, friends & mentor for unconditional love. I Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart ?❤???”

Meanwhile, Pakistan hasn’t got off to an ideal start in the ongoing ICC Women World T20. The Women in Green have lost both their matches against Australia and India. Thus, they will have their work cut out to make it to the semifinal stages.
