Patriotism is always seen in the actions of the cricket legend MS Dhoni, who is currently under the sabbatical break from cricket. The former Indian captain is ready to bring a show on Army personnel who have dedicated their lives to the country.

MS Dhoni has never been hesitated to show love and respect to the Indian army. During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted wearing the balidan symbol on his glove, but he had to later remove as per ICC guidelines.

The 39-year-old has taken a break after the mega event and joined the Indian army for 15 days. He served as the lieutenant-colonel of the Territorial Army in Jammu & Kashmir before going to vacations with his family in America.

According to Mid-day reports, the player has now decided to inspire many by bringing a show on the journey of military officers who have fearlessly worked for the country.

“It is a series revolving around personal stories of military officers who have been feted for gallantry with top honours like the Ashoka Chakra and Param Vir Chakra. Dhoni knows the journey of the people who have selflessly served the nation and the hardships they have faced while doing so. He wants to bring them into the limelight through his show,” the source informs.

Speculations of Dhoni’s retirements are never-ending. In a recent interview, he was asked about his return to the game. His answer was one-liner – “Don’t ask me till January”. His response has given hopes to fans who are expecting him to see in the ground next year.

BCCI’s president Sourav Ganguly has expressed that there is absolute clarity about the future of MS Dhoni in the Indian team. Earlier, chief selector, MSK Prasad has said that the team is moving on from Dhoni and giving the chances to the youngsters.

Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri has opined that MS Dhoni’s selection in the team will depend on his IPL’s performance. However, MSD only knew his future in the game of cricket.
