MS Dhoni’s parents have been admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi. His father and mother are receiving treatment at Pulse Superspeciality Hospital in Ranchi.
“Their oxygen level is stable.” the hospital was quoted as saying in a statement.
Notably, the Chennai Super Kings captain is in Mumbai leading the 3-time champions in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. MS Dhoni is due to lead CSK in their 4th match of IPL 2021 on Wednesday against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium.
MS Dhoni has led CSK in the IPL since the league’s inception and has won three IPL titles with the team in 2010, 2011, and 2018. CSK had a mixed start to this season of the league as they have won two and lost one out of their three matches. The team is in the third position on the points table with four points.

He and his CSK teammates then headed to Mumbai where they spent 7 days in mandatory quarantine before beginning training for IPL 2021.
