The most awaited event in Indian Premier League (IPL) finally took place at Chennai. The heroes of Chennai Super Kings franchise finally made a come back into their den, in order to prepare for the upcoming mega cricketing extravaganza.
Twitter Handle of Chennai Super Kings was lit up with the presence of their old stars and some new ones. The quintessential all-rounder for CSK, Dwayne Bravo, was snapped during his welcome as he donned the traditional greeting garland.
The CSK reunion saw Thala and Chinna Thala of CSK, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina finally joining forces for the men in yellow.
Ravindra Jadeja, their third retained player, was also seen making his way into the hotel. The reunion witnessed their prolific run-scorers in the by-gone season and team mentor, Mike Hussey, returning back into the tournament, in the yellow.
The Reunion day also saw few fresh faces for the IPL giants, namely, Shardul Thakur, legendary off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh and domestic stalwart Ambati Rayudu. Also, Murali Vijay was provided with a much-deserved homecoming after travelling all over the north.
Furthermore, MSD played a game of pool and also knocked one out of the ground while chancing his arms during the nets.
An IPL without a photo shoot and goofy advertisement campaigns is unheard of. Therefore, the men in yellow decked up to shoot some of the commercials for the upcoming tournament.
CSK is scheduled to feature in the tournament opener against Mumbai Indians on 7th April, at Wankhede Stadium.
