Indian skipper MS Dhoni on February 3rd, 2015 decided to take his pacers out for trekking so that they are ready for the grind all over again now in the ICC World Cup 2015.
It is believed that Dhoni has taken his injured pace duo Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma and the stand-by pacer Mohit Sharma to a camp 200 Km for Adelaide, where all of them are expected to do physical activities like rocky climbing so that they are ready to work hard again in two days’ time.
A Senior BCCI official told PTI on Tuesday that:
“Dhoni, Bhuvi, Ishant and Mohit have gone to an artificial ‘Adventure Sport Park’, which is around 150 kms from Adelaide. The particular ‘Adventure Sport Park’ has all facilities like trekking, fishing and boating. They will be there for two days and back in team hotel on February 5.”
After being thrashed in the tri-series, Dhoni stressed the need to “switch off” from the rigours of the game in order to come back fresh before the mega event that gets underway from February 14th.
