‘MS Dhoni- The Untold Story’ to be tax free in Jharkhand
The biopic on India’s most successful captain ever MS Dhoni – ‘MS Dhoni- The Untold Story’ is set to be released across India on 30th this month.
The movie is the most awaited in Bollywood this year as people across the country are very much interested in watching the movie as craze is at a peak stage as the epic is due in few days.
The Jharkhand government have decided to declare the movie tax free as they exempted it from entertainment tax as it is the home state of MS Dhoni. The much anticipated have been doing rounds in social media since the trailer got the released as it fetched great reviews from critics.
The Neeraj Pandey directed movie has recently been cleared by the censor board as it had zero cuts and is set to be about 190 minutes in running time. Sushant Singh Rajput is the lead role playing MS Dhoni while Kiara Advani is playing the role of Sakshi Dhoni in the movie.
“The Jharkhand government yesterday waived entertainment tax for the biopic on Dhoni, to be released on September 30″, an official said.
“Dhoni was born in Ranchi and that is where his journey began. We are extremely thrilled and thankful to the Jharkhand government, who are welcoming the film on Dhoni’s life with such open arms,” Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios told PTI.
The movie is expected to have a grand release across India as it is going to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Marathi apart from Hindi version and the fans are eagerly waiting to capture the tickets to watch their favorite cricketer life story on screens.
MS Dhoni has had an illustrious career so far as he has captained India to 2007 T20 world cup and 2011 World Cup glory and have also won Champions Trophy. He has carried on the legacy of Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid as India made huge progress under his captaincy in becoming a dominant country in the game of cricket.
