Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has not been seen playing in the ground since after the World Cup 2019. The player has fully utilised his vacation as he joined the Indian army, went with his family and friends to America where he played the golf tournament. And now the batsman is set to make an entry in Bollywood.
Dhoni can be labelled as a versatile- the perfect finisher, the captain cool, golf-player, a patriot and now will be Bollywood star. The player has already many contacts in the Bollywood industry since his autobiography has been released. He is also a good friend of John Abraham and also with Salman Khan as he is alway’s seen in the superstar’s birthday party.
The player has experience in sets as he has shot many advertisements. As per the reports, MS Dhoni will have a cameo role in the picture and the lead roles are Emraan Hashmi and Suniel Shetty. But the cast is still to be finalised.
“Titled Doghouse, the film revolves around three underdogs and will have many big names in lead roles. While Sanjay Dutt is locked, the filmmakers are still finalising the other critical characters”, a source was quoted as saying to Peepingmoon.
The player is trying various professions but is silent for his career in cricket. Dhoni’s unavailability in cricket is increasing the speculation of his retirement. He has already missed three limited-overs series after the mega event. The wicket-keeper batsman missed the West Indies tour and then made himself unavailable for South Africa series in home ground. Now there are reports that he will miss the Bangladesh series on home ground.
Indian public and fans are desperate to see Dhoni in the ground. His replacement Rishabh Pant has given a degrading performance in recent matches. Well everybody will be eager to see their hero in movies.
