MS Dhoni answered many questions in the post match press conference following India’s loss to Australia in the 2nd match of the ongoing Tri- Series in Australia. Here is what Dhoni had to say to all the questions put on him.
Talking about his batting position at 6, he said he has to make a balance in terms of hitting and not getting out and added that he has groomed Jadeja for the hitting part.
Speaking about Axar Patel, Dhoni said that Axar can well be new Jadeja in terms of batting and this will possibly mean that India might put 2 left arm spinners in playing 11.
Talking about Rohit Sharma’s performance, he said it was good to see him getting some runs consistently and added that we all know his capability of scoring big runs and playing a long innings after getting a start.
And when asked about Shami and his mysterious injury during the end of the match, Dhoni answered it saying that Shami wanted to come and bowl at he end and since it was just 1 over, so he told no to Shami. Also, he added that he is yet to talk to the physio about him.
