Fast bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad have been a great servant of England cricket over the years. They share a great rapport both on and off the field and compliment each other very well. Meanwhile, Anderson has revealed a funny incident when he first met his bowling partner Broad a decade ago.
No competition with Broad: Anderson
Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson are the highest wicket-takers for England in the Test format. To be precise, they bagged 851 wickets for England when they shared the place in the playing XI. They have bowled well in tandem and have brought huge success for the England team. Anderson highlighted the fact that there was no competition between the duo in the playing XI, as the duo has been the two most successful bowlers for England.

“It’s surreal we’ve taken more than 1,000 wickets between us,” Anderson wrote in the book, excerpts of which were published by British tabloid ‘The Sun’. “We’ve never been in competition as bowlers because our skills are different,” he added.
Anderson reveals his first meeting with Broad
James Anderson thought that Stuart Broad was a girl when he first saw fellow England pacer Stuart Broad with his flowing blond hair, striking blue eyes and a perfect figure.

“The first time Stuart Broad walked into the dressing room, with his flowing blonde hair, striking blue eyes and perfect figure, I thought ‘My God, she’s beautiful’,” wrote Anderson.
Meanwhile, Stuart Broad and James Anderson won’t be a part of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. However, they will be a part of the all-important Ashes series which will commence in August just after the World Cup.
