Naseem Shah recently made his T20I debut in Asia Cup 2022 and is set to take part in the seven-match T20I series against England. Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah reckoned that having an attacking mindset against every batter is necessary to be successful.
After making his Test debut way back in 2019, Naseem Shah forayed into limited-overs with his ODI debut during the series in the Netherlands earlier this year. Thereafter, he played in the Asia Cup 2022 where he got big wickets of KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.

Naseem Shah: Wickets Taken When The Team Needs It More Are More Valuable Than Others And Special
Naseem Shah said that picking up wickets in the hour of need gives him immense satisfaction. He picked 7 scalps in 5 T20Is in Asia Cup 2022 averaging 19.71 at an economy rate of 7.67.
“As a bowler, I’ve to go after every batter but it is important to work according to the team’s requirements, the wicket you take when the team needs it the most holds more value than other wickets and those are always special for me,” Naseem was quoted as saying.

Naseem Shah got the wickets of KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Kusal Mendis, Mohammed Nabi, Babar Hayat, and Nizakat Khan in Asia Cup 2022- his maiden T20I series.
Naseem Shah Reckons It Will Be A Fair Contest Between England And Pakistan As Some English Players Have Played In The PSL
After doing well in the UAE, Naseem Shah is set to take part in the seven-match T20I series against England. Although Jos Buttler is unavailable for now due to injury, the pacer doesn’t want to undermine the Three Lions by any means.
Jos Buttler might sit out of England’s seven-game Twenty20 series against Pakistan in an effort to stay healthy for the 2022 T20I World Cup that starts next month.
“It is always exciting to play against a top side on your home soil, I am hopeful of a fair contest between the two sides, we are arriving here from the Asia Cup with good form, so it will be a fruitful series,” he stated.

Naseem Shah also reckoned that the England players wouldn’t be alien to the playing conditions, having already played quite a bit in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Dawid Malan and Phil Salt, two explosive batsmen, are among the English players who played in the PSL before making their international debut for England. Opener Alex Hales and all-rounder Liam Dawson also have been featured many times in the PSL representing different franchises.
“Several England players have played in Pakistan before during PSL and they know about the conditions and opponents. They’ll play according to their strength and we’ll play according to ours. It is our condition and we know our strengths well,” Naseem added.
The first of the seven T20Is is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 20 at National Stadium in Karachi. The series is England’s first tour of Pakistan in 17 years; as England last visited Pakistan in 2005.
