New Zealand-Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I Tri-Series: Schedule Announced For Blockbuster Series

New Zealand Cricket (NZC), on Tuesday (June 28), announced the schedule for a blockbuster New Zealand-Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I tri-series.

New Zealand will host Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and England in what will be a packed home summer for them this year. The women’s team will also host Bangladesh before leaving for South Africa to take part in the Women’s T20 World Cup. NZC announced the schedule for the entire home season on Tuesday.

The Black Caps will begin their home season with the tri-series just before the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. After the showpiece event in Australia, they will resume their home season with a limited-overs series against India.

India will visit New Zealand for three T20Is and as many ODIs in November.  New Zealand will then embark on a visit to Pakistan and India for a brief series before returning to host England for two Tests. Post the conclusion of that series, New Zealand will host Sri Lanka for a full-fledged tour of two Tests, 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs.

Schedule for New Zealand-Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I Tri-Series:

Talking about the New Zealand-Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I Tri-Series, it will be played from October 7 to 14. The entire series will take place in Christchurch. In the first match of the series, Pakistan will lock horns against Bangladesh while New Zealand will open their campaign against Pakistan.

Each team will play the other team twice and the two top-ranked sides will make it to the final. The final is scheduled to take place on October 14.
