Ravichandran Ashwin

Ashwin was the main wicket taker for India in the second innings. He came to bowling crease in the 2nd over itself and troubled the New Zealand batsmen. He picked the wickets of Martin Guptill and Tom Latham in the same over. Kane Williamson who was looking good , Ashwin dismissed him to break the backbone of the New Zealand batting line-up. He bowled 16 overs giving away 68 runs. He also became the 2nd fastest bowler to take 200 test wickets.
