Nicholas Pooran Gets Engaged To Kathrine Miguel

Nicholas Pooran, who was the star performer for Kings XI Punjab in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, officially announced his engagement with his long time girlfriend Kathrine Miguel on social media.

Taking to Twitter, the wicketkeeper-batsman shared an adorable picture with a beautiful background and him kneeling down to put a ring on Miguel’s finger.

Sharing an adorable picture, Pooran wrote, “God has blessed us with a great blessing. I am glad to announce that @kathrina_miguel and I got engaged. Love you Migz.️ I got you.”

Fellow Trinidadians including Tion Webster wished Pooran and his partner in the comments. His KXIP teammates Mandeep Singh took to the comments and wrote, “Congrats Nicky paaji! Bruaaaahh,” followed by Arshdeep Singh, who wrote, “Congrats Nicky praa.” New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham reacted to the news and said, “Yessss boy! Congrats.”

From his national side, Caribbean limited-overs captain Kieron Pollard commented, “The professional … congrats @nicholaspooran @kathrina_miguel.” West Indies Test skipper Jason Holder wrote, “Man oh man. LOVE is pure! Congrats to you both.” Some other of his national teammates poured heartfelt wishes for the new couple.

Kathrina also shared a few pictures on Instagram and wrote, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Being loved by you is a blessing I thank God every day for. Love you @nicholaspooran.”

Nicholas Pooran has been named as the T20I vice-captain by the Cricket West Indies (CWI) for the upcoming series against New Zealand. West Indies will play two Tests and three T20I matches against the Black Caps during the tour of New Zealand from November 27 to December 15. After the New Zealand series, Pooran will play in the Big Bash League in Australia.
