Only twenty one players never let in their career “bird” ( duck) to seat on their scoring sheet. Yes, they are the only a few cricketers who played some Test matches and that helped them to achieve a rare feat in cricket that is even Don Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar failed to achieve.
There are many astonishing records in cricket; one of whacking record is fewest duck in Test cricket. If any cricketer plays maximum number of match then there will be maximum chance of getting out scoring duck, but, if anybody plays less number of games then they have little chance of getting out scoring anything. But, you can’t underestimate their records.
The record of not getting out scoring anything means batsman read the pitch well, and handle overcast situations (if any) in the morning well. If we look at the list of the cricketers, we will not a single player who has less than 20 average, and another interesting fact is this list has four players who has not scored centuries; although three them have 26 plus average.
In the history of Test cricket only 21 players have no duck in their career. This is indeed an achievement. In this list only six batsmen have forty plus average. Beside, none of these cricketers have played more than 24 matches. Only two from the current bunch of batsman feature this list. They are Chris Rogers and Sarfraz Ahmed. Herbie Collins of Australia and Raman Subba Row of England are the two batsmen who have astonishing average.
