The news regarding him signing a taking a Kolpak route emerged out after his mixed show in the series against England. With the emergence of youngsters and the age also catching up, the news became the talk of the town, but Ama didn’t comment on the matter. It was the first time when he stepped on the field for a practice session after series against England and the question immediately cropped up, which he clarified.
Along with Amla, there were reports of English counties targeting Morne Morkel for a Kolpak deal as well. Till now, there are no comments from him, nor any county and suspense still loom on the matter.
