The ball-tampering saga has surely tainted the image of Australian cricket, and their players are being seen as cheaters by some of the former players and cricket pundits. Not just cricket pundits and experts they are being seen as cheaters by cricket fans around the world as well.

England’s famous group of fans ‘The Barmy Army’ is known for their notorious ways of taking a dig at the opposition team and they are back at it again. The English group of fans has again aimed at their oldest rivals and arch-rivals on the field with a song prepared for the incident

The Barmy Army has also taken a personal dig at David Warner and have a remarked his wife. While the song aims at Steve Smith’s involvement in the ‘sandpaper gate,’ it also revolves around David Warner’s family.

Warner was involved in a fiery argument with South African wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock, who referred to Warner’s wife and her past affair with Sonny Bill Williams.
Here is the song.
“Steve Smith is an Aussie
He wears a baggy cap
And when he saw some sticky tape
He said I’m having that…
He gave it Cameron Bancroft
Who rubbed it on the ball
Those cheating Aussie convicts
They’ll never change at all!
Oh…Davie Warner’s Aussie
He wears the baggy green
He dribbles like a caveman
His behaviour’s obscene
He’s rather fond of Candy
She gives him such a thrill
But when he offers her de Kock
She begs for Sonny Bill!”
