Ajinkya Rahane:
India’s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane was once a regular member of the Indian team in all the formats but because of immense competition, he has lost place in the white-ball format. Since 2018, Rahane has not got a chance to play in ODI cricket.
Rahane was handed the captaincy on the Zimbabwe tour in 2015 when the then regular captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was rested. In the 3 matches played during that series, under the leadership of Rahane, India won all the three matches and captured the series. With this, Rahane has also been included in the list of Indian captains who won 100% of the Indian camp in ODI cricket during his captaincy.
