Video: OMG – Virat made a mistake, but seen abusing Ajinkya Rahane on the field!
In 2015 during South Africa’s tour of India Virat Kohli and Rahane shared a dramatic incident.
India lost the series due to poor performance in the series, but this incident shocked many Indian cricket fans.
South Africa win the series by a 3-2 margin.
In one of the matches, Rahane playing a shot tried to steal a run, but Virat Kohli without observing Rahane’s indication ran for a second run.
It was clearly visible that it is Virat’s fault as he didn’t watch where the ball is and Rahane’s call. Now South African fielder Farhaan Behardien observed that there was a communication gap between Virat and Rahane so he has thrown the ball to wicketkeeper the bowler who threw it to wicketkeeper Quinten de Kock who broke the bail.
Initially, Behardien dropped the catch of Rahane and he ran quickly to grab the ball and threw it to De Kock.
Now Virat, who was batting at 12, started abusing Rahane. However, even though Rahane was not guilty, he didn’t speak a word.
Virat is India’s most important batsman, but it is a pure arrogance Virat showed to Rahane when he abused Rahane.
The Indian dressing room was visibly upset with the situation as India already were trailing the series.
