OPPO Unveils Team India’s New Jersey For ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Oppo, the mobile manufacturing company private limited on Thursday, has unveiled the New Jersey at a grand event in Mumbai’s J.W. Marriott Sahar hotel, for defending Champions Trophy champions India which in a nutshell gives self-belief when players don the pride for the country that has massive fan-base for the gentleman’s game.

The Oppo logo inscribed on the jersey will be featured in the upcoming Champions Trophy which is scheduled from June 1 in England and Wales.

New Jersey which is supported and sponsored by electronic and gadget giant Oppo.

The jersey has a tricolour strip followed by three-stars along with a BCCI logo, tick mark of Nike in white colour combination engraved on the jersey which has a dark shade of blue with Oppo emboldened in bold which further reflects the game of formidable India in limited overs cricket.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has launched a new jersey sponsored by Oppo when there is impasse taking place between the national board and ICC over the new revenue model.

The jersey across the globe has played a significant role in the sport as different features had made the things easier for the players which further includes the ‘zero distraction’ while being made of fine microfiber. With technology coming into the first place, there were some slight additions made into the jersey.

However, there seems no change in the newly launched jersey in general, but the designers have taken complete care of the design as the fabric is more technology driven which further provides comfort to the players on the field.

Earlier, during a much-awaited bid, Oppo has offered USD 162 million (INR 1,079 crore) to claim the rights for a period of five years.

Technology and cricket under one roof.

Earlier, Star has pulled out of the bidding before their sponsorship expired in March this year.

It has also been stated OPPO Mobile India Private Limited will pay INR 4.61 crore for the bilateral game and INR 1.56 crore for a match (tournament) which is conducted by International Cricket Council.
