Pakistan‘s potential all-rounder youngster Haris Sohail complained of paranormal presence in his hotel room in New Zealand and he forced the management to shift him to another room.
Sohail woke up in the night scared, insisting there was a paranormal presence in his room. The Pakistani youngster forced the management team to shift him to another room. After that that time he got high fever after which the team management took the issue seriously and force the hotel management to change his room immediately. This is the first time a Pakistani cricketer has deal with this kind of problem on tour as usually in the past players have been caught up in debates pertaining to their own deportment, according to media reports.
Pakistan’s World Cup team is now in New Zealand to play 2 One Day Internationals (ODI) and some practice matches before they move on to Australia for the ICC World Cup. The Pakistanis lost to a New Zealand President XI but skipper Misbah-ul-Haq returned from a hamstring problem with a ton, on Sunday in their first practice match.
A team official said it had been determined to give Misbah rest for the 2nd practice match as he had just recuperated from his injury and the team management did not want to physically tax him out.
The official also said on Tuesday Haris Sohail who did not play the first match and pace bowler, Bilawal Bhatti would play in the 2nd practice match. But the team management has determined to not risk tall left arm pacer, Muhammad Irfan, leg spinner, Yasir Shah until the 1st One Day International against the New Zealand on 31st January, 2015.
