On December 5th, Pakistan became the first team to register 50 international T20 wins. They achieved this feat when they defeated New Zealand in the 1st of the two-match T20 series at Dubai.
Pakistan came into T20 cricket in 2006 and since then, they have been one of the consistent teams in terms of performance. They were the finalists in the inaugural T20 World Cup and the winners of the 2009 T20 World Cup. Pakistan are also the only team to reach semi-finals in four-consecutive T20 World Cups (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012).
South Africa are the second best team in terms of wins (43) followed by Sri Lanka, who have 42 wins in 67 international T20 matches.
